biography
Hello and thanks for stopping by:-)

My music is totally original and I'll be posting much of it here.

I hope someone out there appreciates it:)

I've been playing guitar for a long long time and recently (a couple years ago) became completely obsessed with Electronic Music and Music Technology-OH MY GOD SOOOO COOL!!!!

A couple of years ago I bought Ableton's Live and Propellorhead's Reason-life just hasn't been the same since.

I studied jazz here in the Detroit area and am interested in pushing the Electronic Jazz envelope or fusing the two together.

I'm into a wide range of styles. I'm happiest when I sort of get lost while creating my music. You know-no boundaries or templates.

Indeed, creativity is allowing your self to make mistakes.

Be adventurous and go out on a limb!!!

Remember, adventure begins where the comfort zone ends!!!

Right on!

Peace.

Hey Moon6/DiscFrisker.
I really, really appreciate that you took the time to make a reply-and a positive one at that. It is hugely inspirational. Regarding the production comment DiscFrisker.
I appreciate your candor. I need to hear constructive criticism so I can grow and improve. The amazing thing is most of this music was done on my laptop-not in a multi thousand dollar studio-perhaps that's obvious. I know others pull off great tracks with just their laptops. I'll keep at it.

Garden Of Satellites ... agree with moon6 on the arrangements and sounds - very creative, fresh - the only thing that stands in the way between you and lots of success is your production - still some fine-tuning when it comes to capturing/delivering your material - don't feel bad about these comments - production is one of the easiest fixes - you create awesome music ...

respect

This is good stuff. Interesting arrangements and sounds, intricate and involving. Fun to listen to, very original.

Nice stuff will be telling my friends at EmmediateMusic.com about and you see what they think :-)

Best way that I have found is to visit comment walls of people that seem to be well networked. When you are about to post, or just after posting a song, let them know that you are posting and that they should check out your music and give feedback. People on T61 are very helpful, kind, and honest.

Once people have a tie to your music (as in, they always bump your songs) you won't have any problem getting bumps.

That's at least my take on it...best...pp

Get out there and do a bit of mingling within the community, it will help your songs get bumped and get your music to more ears. With all of the great bands and songs here on the 61 it's not so much that your songs don't deserve to get bumped as people DON'T KNOW IT YET!

Just a little advice from your first bumper on Funk With Me.

Keep it up!
