A SPELL INSIDE was founded in 1989 by Melrow (vocals, programming) and PeKirk (synths, samples). After some funny sessions the whole thing became bigger and bigger.

After a couple of shows in Germany and and a lot of sold tapes a record-company signed them and the first MCD "Return to grey" was released in 1995. The debut was a big success and one year later the first longplayer followed called "Visions from the Inside". From then A SPELL INSIDE were a constant not only in Germany's dark-wave-electronic scene but also in many parts of Europe like e.g. Sweden or Italy.

Till this day many releases followed. The last one was "Vitalizer" in 2004 which came up with pure electronic sounds in comparison to the first releases in the 90ies where the guitars played a major role.

In 2008 there are two highlights to come:

1. CD "Essential" as a collection of rare and exclusive tracks in 09/2008.

2. Brandnew album "Loginside" which you can expect in the end of 2008.
