On Music for Humans, his first solo release, Banjo Drill abandons the dark cabaret theatrics of WPI and BCR and heads off into new territory, constructing pop oddities that are as fun as they are weird.

Armed with a beat up old guitar, a midi controller, a microphone, and an unfolding story in his head, Banjo Drill leaps into a surreal world of whimsical imagrey, soul, and badassery. Brandon Schlunt from the soaring Cincinatti quartet Noctaluca made the drums go boom.

Music for Humans is like a party held under the flashing lights of a hovering spaceship.
