biography
Barryvan is Barry van Oudtshoorn, a computer programmer and musician from Perth, Australia. I write predominantly orchestral and electronic pieces, but occasionally I'll dabble in other genres.

You can find out more about me and my music on my website, www.barryvan.com.au.

I write music for the sheer joy of doing so. Interestingly, most people seem to appreciate my orchestral work, but my wife, a classically-trained musician, is convinced that my electronic works are far superior. :)

@tiberiusjojo: Sorry for the late reply... Yes, 'Dawn' features the French Horn a fair bit. :D My wife's a horn player, and I just love the instrument, so it was kinda inevitable. :) Thanks for listening!

is it just my ears.. or the perdition and drifting has the same sound...
the part of the flute.... not actually sure if that is the sound of the flute... but they are alike... in perdition the sound is continuous, on the other hand, in drifting the sound has rests...

Your music reminds me, very fondly I might add, of some video game soundtracks from my past. It is really wonderful, so I give you my bumps.
