Biography

With powerful vocals, searing guitars and a thundering rhythm section Bombasticide returns with their sophomore effort, “Scratch”. Part concept album, very eclectic and all rocking “Scratch” turns many corners and explores practically every vista in rock music while effortlessly innovating some uncharted territory. From the thundering open of Baby Girl through the final track, the optimistic and poppy Meadow there is, for lack of a better term, bombast. Along with the ten original tracks on this thirteen song opus are rock interpretations of the electronica classics “Battle Flag” by Lo F... (+) expand

Baby Girl is absolutely incredible, definitely in the running for the best song I've heard on thesixtyone. Well done. I have to listen to something else before coming back to your other tracks, because while your other tracks sounded good on a first listen through, I've been spoiled by your opener.

Oh, and just between you and me, while I won't as a general rule bump covers of my favorite groups, that was some quality Iron Maiden...

Congrats on "selling out" and "going commercial." :P

It's great news, well done.

I have always liked the Method, and Born Too Slow is a great one. A fine cover!

“Baby Girl” is awesome! And I can't believe I skipped over “Battle Flag” before, but I have to say “You and I” is my favorite. Great music!

"Stone Statues" ain't my style, but love the new song, "Baby Girl!" The music is great, the artwork is kewl, the band name is catchy. "My House Fell Down" is great, great stuff, IMHO. Keep it up, ya'll!

One of the biggest reasons I'd love to move to Seattle is the music scene. One of my most favorite bands is from Seattle. Perhaps you've heard of Rishloo?

At any rate, thanks for the pointer to your other CD on CD Baby. I think Under The Same Stars is my favorite of your songs so far, so it's great to know I can find it. I'll be picking those CDs up with my next batch order ;)

Any chance on getting more songs up here??

Great stuff, guys. I want MORE!

Anyone really loving this and feeling that they need more, they have their CD on CD Baby for one absurdly low price.
