I like to promote the music of my friends when I believe in their material. There's one singer that I should have already been telling everybody about a long time ago, but she has the disadvantage of having me doing the mixing, mastering and music for her songs.

Please allow me to direct your attention to my wife's page on thesixtyone, and our page as well. I have just posted songs on both profiles.

Glenn and Rachael on thesixtyone

"Presenting to You" was created for a benefit CD that should be availalbe again in the near future. The website needs to be revamped.

"Need Stilts" is often considered to be one of the greatest songs I have ever taken part in writing.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

Hey there,

Deshead's a friend of mine from Songfight. He's better than his bump and listener stats reflect.

He also just uploaded a new song called "Nothing Left". I like it, I bumped it several times, and maybe you'll like it too. That's why I am telling you about it.

Hey there,

You have shown some serious support for me on this website, and I wanted to be sure to thank you for that. Seriously, check out these stats:

Captain S Theme Song = 1 bump
El Balazon = 3 bumps
Georgia's Hand = 1 bump
Go Home, Please = 2 bumps
Hopeless = 5 bumps
I Can Not Function 6 bumps
I'm Only Sleeping = 4 bumps
Pencil Me In = 1 bump
Say Yes = 1 bump
Sea of Zombies = 1 bump
Stapler = 1 bump
Total = 26 bumps

You also took the time to leave a nice comment for "Hopeless". It goes without saying that you absolutely rock.

I wanted to also let you know that I will not be putting any new songs on thesixtyone any time soon because I am BEYOND maxed out with 21 songs. They changed how many songs you can upload per level, and I will have to reach level 20 before I can put up any new material. The highest rated artist is at level 17 right now, so it's safe to say that you won't see anything new from me for a LONG time.

Then again, 21 songs is a probably a lot to absorb anyway, but if you'd like to hear more for some reason? Here's a link where you can find 380 free mp3s of songs I have had some part in creating. As you know, some of it sucks, but some of it's pretty good too.

Again, thank you very much for your support.

DAY 509
Brother Machine - I Had a Dream
From "No Home in this World"

When I think of musicians that I have met, it baffles my mind that some of them aren't playing to packed arenas worldwide. As far as I can tell, Brother Machine is the whole package, and should be a household name. Seth is a great singer, a great songwriter, and a great live performer at the very LEAST. He puts out better music than a lot of signed artists that I hear.

That's why I am thrilled to announce that I convinced Bro Mac to join thesixtyone. It may not be the key to super-stardom, but at least more people will hear this music, which is great beacuse it is music that is WORTH YOUR TIME. I urge you to check it out.

You should be able to listen to "I Had a Dream" on the Brother Machine's Myspace page.

Hello there,

"Go Home, Please" hit the front page over the weekend, and that was a very pleasant surprise. You helped to make that happen by bumping the song, so thank you!

I wrote and recorded it around a year ago while I was trying to complete 14 songs for February Album Writing Month. I was very happy with the song at first, but over time I started wondering if the ending was too cheesy, and I regarded it as one of my weaker tracks that had come out of the process.

I recently re-evaluated the song and thought "Maybe they will like this on thesixtyone." So, I really didn't know whether people were going to like it or not when I uploaded it.

With that in mind? Thank you for bumping "Go Home, Please" and proving my doubts to be unnecessary.

ROCK!

So, tonight I had a gig with my band for what feels like the first time in forever. We braved the ice rink roads, and played a show that wasn't half bad.

Then I came home and unloaded the gear, and my wife Rachael logs on to thesixtyone and tells me that not only is "I'm Only Sleeping" still on the front page, It has reached over 400 bumps! Wow!

It was already a pretty good night, but hearing that people are digging the cover so much is just the proverbial icing on the cake. You bumped the song. You helped to make this happen.

In short: Thank you so much!

Feverishly working on a cover song right now so I can put it up on thesixtyone tomorrow at around noon PST.

I hope people will like it. I think people will like it. Thus far, I am absolutely LOVING how it is sounding. Can't wait to share this one.

Hello again,

Well, I re-recorded all of the vocals for "Stapler" tonight, and I think it sounds WAY better than it did initially. Thanks again for bumping it, and I would encourage you to take a few minutes to listen to the new version if and when you get the chance to do so.

ROCK!

Thank you for bumping Stapler!

"Stapler" was written and recorded along with 6 other songs in a 24 hour time period. The lead vocals are definitely off in spots, and it is bugging me enough that I am going to re-record the vocals and put up the new mix soon.

Don't worry, I won't delete it, I'm just going to edit it with the new audio as soon as I get a chance to do so.

ROCK!
