hey, long time no upload! that's right, on FRIDAY the 15th, 12pm NOON, EASTERN AMERICA TIME, we'll be uploading a new song "the whole game is based on faith." it's an acoustic journey of sorts, written between the hours of 12 and 4am in my mom's garage about a year and a half ago. it's off our album "chopping wood & carrying water" which can be had here for $10 plus shipping: http://amarodolce.com/paypal.html OR we can send you all 44 some songs we have for free to your email (if you haven't bought the album or asked for the demos already). just message us with your email address.

again, much love to all of you who have gotten us on the homepage multiple times for multiple songs. the best thing about this website isn't the bands but the enthusiastic listeners.

also check out luke brandfon, the inspiration for "luke's hymn" on t61! recommended song to start off with: theme 1

much peace and love,
mark alan boyd

ok that makes a little more sense now, i thought there was some kinda glitch.

hey thanks a lot for bumping and listening! you might not know this but i'm kinda confused on how the point system works--luke's hymn has more points for that one song than we have total--does that mean there is a lag in the system or is there some weird formula that evens it out to your "total score"?

haha thanks we'll have a similar contest every time we upload a song--we'll let all of our listeners know the exact (or as exact as possible) time we'll get it up, so you've got 34 more chances!

Poopy I just realized I didn't say what time zone. Hmmm, well, let's just say 3PM EASTERN TIME (it'd be less confusing for me cause we're in North Carolina). If you can't do the math as to what time that would be in your zone, please write me back and I'll hopefully be able to figure it out.

Also, check out http://www.myspace.com/lukeybrandfon - he's the "Luke" in "Luke's Hymn" -- those of you who have myspace accounts too should add him and then tell him to get the f*** over here on sixtyone!

Hey just wanted to give our listeners a chance to bump our new song first. I will upload it at 3pm sharp today and it is called "It's All In Your Head" from our debut album "Chopping Wood & Carrying Water" (which also has Luke's Hymn on it). I use a looping pedal when we play live and try to fill out our two-man sound with it. The only things that are overdubbed are the synths and the vocal samples, which were taken from an old Twilight Zone-like radio show.

If you want our 40+ songs for free, send us a message with your email or email us at kingtutband@gmail.com

http://www.amarodolce.com is where you can purchase our album (21 songs, 1hr17mins)

thanks a lot for your continued support!

here are the lyrics to Luke's Hymn

You can get real far with a little,
but you best not get caught up in the middle,
cause all those things that drag you down
they won't make a sound.

Well fuck me....thanks, I actually e-mailed the guys with the site on it to get that shits cleared up, so Im sure they will let me know the same thing. I thought it was some conspiracy or something!!

I should lay off of the coffee or something......

RandomIan (level 11) wrote:

They arent revives at all. Keep your eye on it, I have noticed that they are songs that I KNOW that I bumped in the past, then all of a sudden they are on the 'New' page just posted 4 mins ago sorta thing......interesting....

RandomIan (level 11) wrote:
at 12 Jun 08 09:28am
Im still working on the 'strategy' for the site, but Im getting there.

Is it me or are people pulling off their songs that have done alright, THEN reposting them and its like people already know and the bump, bump, bump to get it to the home page and get those people TONNES of points.....

Hey cheers mate. Still sounds distorted though.
Someone commented that it was a "scrapped mp3 from a radio rip" so that probably explains the distortion. Being that the original was bad quality.

Thanks anyway!! Good to have the download of it.

How were they on Leno? I will have to check out the onlines for a video of it.

Is it me, or is there nothing getting points right now?
