your turn! what've you been up to?

good, good! i'm enjoying this site/game/experiment quite a bit. i usually find some gems listening to a browse-generated list of electronic/ambient songs while writing -- helps me focus, though i wish "ambient" didn't so often correlate to "no drums," because smart, understated rhythms really help keep a track interesting while unintrusive.

otherwise, i'm just doing my thing in san francisco -- working as an activist on digital civil liberties issues and being engaged/trying to get married!

Hi...Jarrod from Admiral Twin here. I contributed a track to the For Supergrover cover song project here on T61 (Haven't heard about it? Read this article to find out more: http://www.maxbumps.net/2008/09/supergroverfor-squirrels-tribute.html.)

My track, "Orangeworker," was uploaded recently. There are also great tracks from Glenn Case, Temple Scene, and Delightful Young Man. If you'd like to check it out, head over to www.thesixtyone.com/forsupergrover/

Hey best friend!

So here's the deal, I really really want one of my songs to make front page because that's never happened before and this song deserves it for sure, and it's so close!

Check it out, the song's called Disappoint You, you'll love it.

Thanks for the return subscription! Radio Bump 2 is under way and has me listening to Coconut Records. I'll be loitering and listening to make sure your Radio count rolls over. If you take a listen to my radio, please feel free to TuneBox me any songs that you run across that you think that I might also like. Thanks again...Jerry

another Rails update:

we just posted a new (old) tune on our page, its called "in case of fire" and, though its not one of our newer jams, we still think it's worth a listen.

love

Hi. Just thought I'd let you know that we'll be posting a track to T61 today at 1:03pm (CDT). The song is "You Hung the Moon." Come by and take a listen...if you dare.

On a completely separate note: The combination "ough" can be pronounced in nine different ways. The following sentence contains them all:
"A rough-coated, dough-faced, thoughtful ploughman strode through the streets of Scarborough; after falling into a slough, he coughed and hiccoughed."
