I am the guitarist in the Columbus, Ohio based Alternative Fusion band "Get In Tha Van". Guitar tones the likes of David Gilmore, Carlos Santana, Mark Knopfler and even some old school Slash cranking that Les Paul through a pile of Marshall amps makes me all warm and fuzzy. Creative influences weave between Metallica, Dave Matthews, Nirvana Al Di Meola, Bob Marley and John Scofield...sounds like crazy talk I know! Thievery Corporation is the one band that I can listen to for days on end. Before discovering TheSixtyOne, I would just create a Thievery Corporation station on Pandora and kick back. One of these days soon I plan to work on a downtempo type project myself. I'd love to fuse some smooth guitar tones with a bit of mellow electronica!
