The album "The Outsider " has been nominated for a JPF Music award! Ryan Avery got the news at the end of June, which came as quite a welcome surprise. www.jpfolks.com

biography
Chance's End is currently promoting the new album The Outsider, for purchase at CD Baby. The 2004 CD release Set Me Free and its vinyl single, Skyway, are currently available through the website http://www.chancesend.com

Violinists play concertos, not breakbeat electronic music. But Chance's End, led by classically-trained San Francisco violinist Ryan Avery, is changing that. Influenced by artists such as Groove Armada, Hybrid, and Vanessa-Mae, Chance's End is fusing solo violin with electronic music, bringing it into the 21st century.

If you're still out there, know that thesixtyone is becoming a bit more alive again, and that the community is back.

Furthermore, know that your music is amazing. Superman is one of my favourites, still. :)

The seperate category for humor songs seems the right approach. Glad y'all can take some time to have fun!

Thanks for the generous response. Just to clarify, I've started making personal requests for various artists to sell their music here because:
1 - I'm not in the U.S., yet T61 will still sell it to me.
2 - It's not iTunes. While great on a Mac, iTunes on Windows barely qualifies as not malware, and iTunes on Linux doesn't exist. As much as I like and wish to promote your music, I also wish to support open and fair marketplaces that don't try to force terrible closed platforms upon me.

Cheers.
