Hi sixtyoners: two bits of news. FIrst, the video for the annual appearance of my Christmas song 'The Christmas Moon' is one YouTube here:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sfpQUTCVScM

Second, the album launch show on 15th January 2010 is off for personal reasons. Apologies to anyone planning to make it. I dare say a show will appear later in the year. Thanks as ever for all your support. It means a great deal to me.

If you don't hear from me beforehand (and you may) have a great Christmas. May your baubles be ever sparkly.

Apologies but due to flooding and other last-minute problems with the venue the gig/party tonight (15h January) at the (ironically named) Ocean Rooms in Brighton has been cancelled. A shame as it was shaping up to be a great night with a big crowd. No doubt a similar night will appear sometime soon. cr x

I'll be playing a short P.A. at the Ocean Rooms, Brighton, Friday 15th (doors open 8pm), featuring new instrumental 'Red Raga', plus 'From the Golden Light', 'ThunderStorms', 'Angel on the Underground', 'Heart in Your Hand' and 'Satellites' from the new album, plus 'Et tu Babe'. I'll also be playing a set with local band Adhora, for whom I play guitar (www.myspace.com/AdhoraMusic). Support will be covers band Wendy's Parade, and there'll be DJs until 2pm. Private party: join us, admission free.

Nice, that album's gonna be a big ol' beast then, with 20+ tracks.

Which reminded me to look through some of the old tracks. Threw some more hearts at Oberammagau, that was the first track I heard from you, and it's still hard-hitting as I remember :)

By the way, your instrumentals are my favorite tracks of yours. Hopefully you'll put one or two on the album?

Yeah, I had originally posted that Everyone is a Heartbeat was broken after the reupload, but I encountered several other songs around the site that didn't work either, so I figured it was just a problem with my browser at the time and deleted the comment. The song works fine now for me though.

Hi all, 'Good Luck Glitterbug' reappears in its final album mix form. And I've remixed and remastered 'Everyone is a Heartbeat', (bigger, clearer and better), and I've also remastered 'NuRomancer', 'Corridors', 'ThunderStorms' and 'Angel on the Underground', which are now also in their final, polished album versions. Have a listen and let me know what you think. Thanks as ever cr x

Slight edit on Rain Came Down... taken out four bars near the beginning. Works much better as a coherent musical journey now. Also tweaked the EQ. Three or four more tracks to come and the album's finished. Huzzah!. cr x

ThunderStorms is brilliant. I love the pulsing background and the vocals carry a perfect mood for the overall feel of the song.

And, can I say? Your picture could be a superhero or something.
