The sixty-one MEGA Upload Party Wake for Michael Paul Miller is set to go off from 7 to 8 pm Pacific Time on Thursday, May the 8th. With 61+ artists slated, it should average about one new tune per minute, and there will be additional uploads hours later due to late uploads. Check KosmikRay 's Wallzine listing of the 61 official artists for your favorite bands, and let your favs know they are welcome to "crash" it and upload then if they didn't get the word in time. Eh, I think it's because I was drunk and forgot about the wailing part until the last possible second before I had to do it :)

You've bumped Arcati Crisis already, which maybe means you like us, or maybe means you were just speculating on a new song. Either way, we appreciate it.

We recently remixed both of our tunes to add vocal clarity and more guitar punch, and encoded them at an improved bitrate. There are many more where they came from, but these are two of our favorites and we'd like to give them a bump jumpstart before we upload a third song.

We'd appreciate it if you give us another listen, and perhaps even some more bumps if you still like what you hear. Many thanks - AC

Brother Machine - I Had a Dream

When I think of musicians that I have met, it baffles my mind that some of them aren't playing to packed arenas worldwide. As far as I can tell, Brother Machine is the whole package, and should be a household name. Seth is a great singer, a great songwriter, and a great live performer at the very LEAST. He puts out better music than a lot of signed artists that I hear.

That's why I am thrilled to announce that I convinced Bro Mac to join thesixtyone. It may not be the key to super-stardom, but at least more people will hear this music, which is great beacuse it is music that is WORTH YOUR TIME. I urge you to check it out.

Regarding Cleveland, I hear ya. I lived in the the CLE area for almost a decade before taking off for Seattle. But I love Pittsburgh; I used to go to the Carnegie Museum as a kid. :)

Wow, you are one of a rare few who remembers all of that stuff! Next time we do a "Live @ Rehearsal" disc I'll put in a request w/G to take a shot at With or Without You - I'm sure the seven intervening years have done something for our interpretation. (You can grab the latest disc here.)

And, yes, Elise of Satellite fame is now my fiancée, and we just did Fisher Price w/her at a club a few weeks ago :)
