Cohen's Ghost is the culmination of a life spent living a less than ordinary existence; filled with heartbreak, loss and anguish. One day, in 2002, the years built into the sound of my first song, "Building on the Silence", the first song recorded for my first album "Cohen's Ghost: Songs of Lingering Shades". The name Cohen was given me by a listener who said my writing and off voice reminded him of Leonard Cohen. The name Ghost was given to me years ago, while in the army, because of my darkly serious and haunting nature. Also, because I tended to linger outside the crowd, in the shadows; more an observer than a participant. You will find this "nature" within my music. A critic once said that "...one doesn't listen to Cohen's Ghost's music, they experience it. It will leave you haunted."

All I can say is, listen and see if you can catch the spirit.
