biography
cosmicity.com

A leader in the underground Synthpop movement since 1994, Mark Nicholas (Cosmicity is really just the one guy) briefly retired the name in 2004 to work on a grittier sound under his given name. (Hear those songs right here on thesixtyone.com/marknicholas. If you like the cover of "Hold Me Now" posted here, you'll love the Mark Nicholas cover of "Maniac", complete with bizarre music video.)

Cosmicity is slated to put out a new release in late 2009 (the first since 2003!) The working title is said to be "ASCII Cupcake". Stay tuned for more details!

Brilliant! Have urged the Freaks to show it some love!

Hiya Mark, just popping in to second scrivenj's request to post Oxygenius.

To this day Escape Pod for Two is one of my favorite all-time albums.

Also just have to say, Regenerate = most underbumped/underrated song on your profile. Pure brilliance.

It almost sounds like The Pet Shop Boys!

Hey, just to encourage you that Oxygenius was in my top five for the compilation, but obviously didn't get the votes from others, I loved it though and hope you will post it yourself soon!

Hey Cosmicity, I'm doing a project for my Media Arts class and I was wondering if it would be alright with you if I used your remix of Color Theory's "If Not Now When". I love your music, and if you could get back to moe that would be fantastic. =)

Their outfits are unreal. I swear I thought the lead singer was a man when I heard it on the radio.

By the way, the track is seriously under-appreciated. I like your rendition a lot.
