CSHC (Computer Science Hardcore) consists of
Conyeezy on the mic and
DJ Inubito behind the beats; Huntsvegas, Alabama's one and only nerdrap group, CSHC strives to represent the best of the Nerdy South in their flow, style, subject matter, and, most importantly, their nerdy swagger!
Conyeezy first laid hands on a computer in 8d9; he spent his formative years on Compuserve, GEnie, AOL, and various now-deceased BBS', honing his programming skills at a young age. These skills would later bring him into the
hacker/cracker subculture, where he thrived, making friendships and affiliations that persist to this day. He's seen acquaintances get raided by the feds, go to court for spam/botnets, and sell out big to the foreign firms.
Fast forward to 2k7... Conyeezy has finished a four-year tour in the US Army, serving as a logistician in the 173rd Airborne Brigade thru two deployments. He is currently a college student majoring in music and works as a recording engineer. He is white-hat as of May 2007. Also, replace 'white-hat' with 'grey-hat.'
DJ Inubito first started to get into the rave and party scene in late 2000 and early 2001. It was his first exposures to electronic dance music and the art of the DJ and his power to make a crowd go crazy. One day he finally put together enough cash to buy a starter DJ kit and bought two drum and bass records. He started of mixing both trance and happy hardcore tunes before moving onto other genres such as house, breaks, and jungle. One fan at a show was quoted "Okay, hardcore, trance, jungle, house, is there anything you don't play?" to which Inubito just smiled and shook his head. He has been noted for DJ'ing house parties and anime conventions around Tennessee and Alabama, even all the way to Ohio.
Unsatisfied with simply playing other people's music, Inubito decided to take his music theory knoledge from his earlier years playing bass and guitar, using it to produce the music he currently enjoyed. It was about this time he discovered Nerdcore through the
Rhyme Torrents website. The DIY concept of
nerdcore inspired him to begin making hip-hop beats, hoping to find a vocalist who could actually use them. It was then that he met Conyeezy.
