"Far Away," from Darling Parade's self-titled EP, has been featured on the SyFy Channel (Stargate Universe), The CW Network (Fly Girls), and MTV.
Formed in early 2007 against an unlikely backdrop of fields, Darling Parade was created as an offshoot of a recording project by lead vocalist Kristin Kearns, and Adam Gooch. It took over two years for the Pop/Rock group to be finalized with the addition of Casey Conrad on drums, and Nate Thurston on bass guitar.
In 2009, Darling Parade entered the studio with producer Jon King (Augustana, Throwing Gravity, Kate Linne,The October) to record five new songs. They emerged with a new release cementing both their new musical direction and dedication. The Darling Parade Self-titled EP is available on Itunes and other online retailers. The band recently went back into the studio to record 4 news songs which are set for release in September of 2010. Along with the release, the band will be announcing the release of an all new smartphone application which will work with bringing fans even closer.
