Thank you! Great to see "Mary" here. On my way to last.fm now :)

I asked how many songs you could upload in your level and it's 8. The current formula appears to be (Artist level x 2) +2.
I listened to your album in last.fm last night, even managed to scrobble some! Nice cover art too. Thank you again for the link and the music :)

Hello :)
Thank you so much for the link. I'm heading there right now
I come over now and again to see if you have been able to upload a new song and I have also noticed the points not moving
KosmikRay made a guide about this site. If you are interested send him a tunebox with your email asking him for a copy. It's very clear and complete, worth reading
Hope all is well :)

Hello there
Great songs and the recording has definitely improved.
I would give "Would You Take me Too" a little more time and see what happens, it's only been one day since you uploaded it!
Good to hear from you again and you are most welcome :)

Well, you are most kind! thank you :) I didn't do much though, I saw the post with the explanation and asked if I could use it. The advice comes from Timyjl. I think that if you could edit the sound it might help but as far as I'm concerned I like the songs the way they are, they sound rough/raw but they are alluring nonetheless
I was listening to Willie Nelson earlier (Songbird), your voice kind of reminds me of him, specially in When You Smile. I meant to tell you that before and just for the record I adore the man so it's meant as a compliment! I'll stop rambling now...
Anyway, I look forward to hearing your new song and many more :)

Hi, I like your stuff, I like your songs, I like your voice. There is something unsatisfying about the recording....you do say they're demos. Onwards and upwards.

Hello. I thought you might be interested in reading this. It's the answer Timyjl gave to another listener regarding points and exposure for an artist who is fairly new to the site. Hope it helps and feel free to delete it seeing as I'm taking the liberty of spamming your wall every few days :)

"The first thing I would suggest is patience, JMB has only been here for four days, and mid 50s isn't too bad. There is tons of quality stuff here in that range and lower that has been laying dormant for months. My guess would be his Girls Pants tune will probably be the first to go then the rest may snowball.

Marketing is a huge part of the equation here. Unique album art isn't the key to success—but it it sure doesn't hurt. Building a loyal fan-base is the biggest step to stardom on t61 for the lesser/unknowns. Take Glenn Case for example. Early on he built a rapport with a great many users that bumped his stuff by taking the time to respond to questions and say thanks via wall posts. As tracks were added he gained a following and many front page hits. That may have been a result of his marketing acumen or an organic result of his being a genuinely nice guy. In either case it worked."

and also

"That was one example that I have seen work here. There are probably many other examples out there of successful strategies. Another one that comes to mind is the "hey we're new here, check us out" wall spam that has proved so profitable for Cactus Bob. But in the end I think it comes down to having something unique to offer to the masses."
