Dave Drebes Players is a St. Louis pick-up band. We only play once (or twice) a year. Dave Drebes (keyboard) writes a batch of new songs each year, and then the band convenes in November and rehearses for a show usually around Christmas.
The line-up has changed over our seven year history as we've lost members who's careers have taken them away from St. Louis to places like China and New York City, and recently to Kentucky.
Matt Seimer wails on the electric guitar. Fred Hessel strums the acoustic guitar. Kraig Schnitzmeier bangs the drums. And Brian Werner plucks the bass.
(On "If After" everyone sings, except Schnitzmeier.)
We have a musical director, Butler Miller, who basically just criticizes everyone during practice until he feels we get it right at which point he's silent.
