Drew is a singer, pianist and guitarist from New York by way of San Francisco.
Her voice was recently described on Beacon Pass as "seductively complex, sweet and tangy as ripe citrus, it melds Whitney Houston’s rich bronze timbre and elasticity with the ethereal loveliness of Joni Mitchell."
She has graced the stages of Joe's Pub, Rockwood Music Hall, Piano's, National Underground, Lit Lounge, Bar Matchless, Public Assembly, Glasslands, Cameo Gallery, Pete's Candy Store, and The San Francisco Chamber Orchestra Society (singing inappropriate jazz standards in a 1995 talent competition). On the heels of a Southern tour last summer with her band Bone Sweet Bone, Drew won the prestigious songwriting competition (and the gas money to get home) at Eddie's Attic in Atlanta, GA.
