David grew up in St. Louis, Missouri, before moving out to San Francisco to play some music and start up some bands, the most recent of which is The Boneless Children Foundation, which you really should check out.

Aside from running a rock band, David enjoys composing for film and theater, doing music inspired by the likes of Tom Waits, David Byrne, Angelo Badalamenti, Jon Brion, Danny Elfman, Can, Yann Tiersen, and so forth.
