Dubla Music [pronounced duhb-uhl-ey myoo-zik] is a multinational production company based in New Orleans. This innovative organization creates distinct music and media projects via collaboration with artists across all genres and media. The organization was started as a means to bring forth eclectic sonic concepts; deeply rooted in hip hop, funk soul and jazz, peppered with contrasting worldly influences.

Aaron Thornton [Dubla] founded Dubla Music in 1999 after graduating NYU's Music Business program. He is a producer and entrepreneur from Brooklyn and NYC that landed in New Orleans circa 2002. In 2007, he launched Inner Recess Recording Studios, Dubla Music's in-house recording facility; now one of New Orleans' premier media firms.

Dubla Music and Inner Recess are a family of diversely creative individuals; a blend of perspectives, cultures, and musical flavors. They have produced, engineered, mixed and released several full-length albums and various singles and EPs with a growing roster of artists.
