Dynasty Electric is a New York electronic rock band led by vocalist Jennifer Deveau and multi-instrumentalist Seth Misterka (Anthony Braxton, Hot Chip, Shy Child, etc.). They play psychedelic dance rock songs about magic and mystery, peace and love, and the transformation of consciousness. They have two albums scheduled for release in 2009: "Burning" a 7 song collection inspired by their 2008 US tour to the Burning Man Festival with Russell Manning on bass and Chad Hodge on drums, and "Land of Dreams", a full-length album recorded between 2005-2008 with various guests including Brian Chase of The Yeah Yeah Yeahs.
