Biography:
Eldelvar was born in january 2007 under the name of D.C.P. and it was composed by a group of friends of the highschool Vila de Gràcia of Barcelona. The first year and a half of the band’s life was for preparation, to learn playing together and to search for an own style. During this time D.C.P. covered many different bands such as Obrint Pas, Mägo de Oz, Skalariak, Tierra Santa, Korpiklaani, and others. It was in June 2008 when the band starts writing its own songs, already oriented to a folk metal style that the band still keeps. In September of the same year the band changes its name to Eldelvar, adapting to its new music and creating a new graphic image. During the next few months David and Bernat join the band (adding the flute and another guitar) closing the definitive formation of 7 members. Eldelvar works with its music until recording the first demo with 10 tracks in june 2009, with the collaboration of a friend and singer called Laia. The 10th of October in 2009 Eldelvar does its first show with all the members of the band and a full own musical repertory. Its story has just begun..
