I was told, when writing our bio, that it should not sound too serious. We did not want to give the impression that we were a band with ridiculous egos, who's only means of impressing folks on the internet was with facts of what we have done, and what we will do in the future.
On that note:
- Sometimes when we are practicing, we add random metal breakdowns to the slowest songs and dance around the room.
- The only meaningful experience any of us has had on craigslist is meeting our trombone player. It is quite possibly the best encounter that site has helped produce.
- At one of our shows, we have had people hardcore dance, and slowdance in the same song. We didn't know how to react.
I was also told, when writing our bio, that I shouldn't make it nonsensical simply to prove we have a lighter side. As much fun as we have doing this, we are just as serious about creating music and showing those who care to listen as the next band.
On that note:
- After being a band for a year, we released our first CD. Recorded and mixed by ourselves. It is titled, "The End of Ego".
- In the summer of 2009, we went on our first tour.
- In the summer of 2009, we realized that this was something we could easily do forever.
- Live, we have more energy than means to transfer it by. Thus, our shows are different each night simply because we're trying to find a formula to exhaust us completely.
- While we may not take ourselves seriously 100% of the time, our music is a different story.
