Growing up, performing for people was always my biggest passion. The opportunity to show someone what I had created was the most gratifying experience I knew, which lead me to peruse my interest at a deeper level. Eventually, I found ways to express the way I feel through poems and songs. As time progressed I gathered musicians and recorded these songs and played them with some of my best friends in an acoustic duo called Fort and Cass, and a full ska band called Ziptacular! In fall of 2010 I moved away from my hometown of Trenton, MI to Grand Rapids to further my education at Grand Valley State University. After a brief break in my musical pursuits while I adjusted to this new style of life, I’ve decided that it’s time to take my art a little more personally and move in my own new directions.
