Faded Cadence are a four-piece band from Birmingham, UK who play for nothing but passion. The band fuse acoustic chords with unique vocals, breaking out of the generic trend in the area.

The band consists of lead singer and pianist, Matt Carter; guitarist Chris Jackson; percussionist, guitarist and backing vocalist Kaila Whyte and Victoria Hill, violinist. The entire band are between the ages 16-17, yet continue to prove that they can still achieve something with their music.

The band originated as being a two piece, original members being Matt and Chris. In late 2008, the two wrote, recorded and produced the debut EP A Soundtrack For You in the front room of Matts house. Kaila Whyte had helped the two produce the album by providing stand-ins before being inducted into the band officially. Despite being questionable recording quality, the EP gained quick local popularity and was featured on local radios such as BBC Radio 6, Beacon Radio and the Birmingham Mail Newspaper with outstanding reactions. The album was handed out at gigs and left in public spots to help spread the word of the band, before being available for purchase on the iTunes store.

Since A Soundtrack For You; the band have been progressing by having their first studio session in the summer of 2009 with newest band member Victoria Torz Hill, violinist. During which they professionally recorded Hit The Road (from A Soundtrack For You) and their most popular song Fireworks; gaining instant popularity amongst the bands following, as well as gaining much exposure, specifically among Kerrang! radio.
