After all this time (well at least a week):)...I'm just wondering if the majority of people are still having to continually close and reopen their browsers (IE7 & Opera 9.27) because after 5 or 6 songs played the sound cuts out.

It's still happening to me and a number of people I've spoken too on this site as well.

I know there was a problem with a server and it is better than it was but it's still very annoying.

Is this still being looked at or is it just me and my friends having this problem?

I'm still having this problem as well. After about 5 songs thhey stop playing and I have to open a new browser.

It only seems to cuase me problems when I try to stop, start, or skip songs. If I dutifully listen front to back it doesn't stop. So yea about 3 or 4 songs. I need to skip around.

It's happening to me too and is extremely annoying! Does anyone know if it's happening on MAC's too?

Well I think you can all safely say you've told them and they're aware... hence the "well keep our eyes peeled" comment.

I've been having the problem for at least a week, longer actually. It does suck, because if you like the bumping game you can miss out on some early bumps... but that's the way bugs work.

I usually 61 at work most of the time and I have to reboot to get the music to play again... but at work and doing development stuff, I cannot afford to bump so my listenership has dwindled, though I'm still here quite frequently.

The problem continues! When will this get fixed? Maybe your audio server needs a scare or a glass of water??

This problem with the music not playing is getting old. First it stopped on my regular browser, so I had to switch to Internet Explorere. Now on Explorer, it stops after the frist 2 or 3 songs. While this site is a great idea, the bugs just aren't handled promptly enough. Guess it is time to hit Live365.com until they get their act together around here.

Does it go away after refreshing? Or only after browser restarts? Is the song loaded even though you can't play? Or is it that the song isn't loading fast enough?

I think I've managed to reproduce this problem in some browsers. It's being caused by clicking previous/next before the song is finished loading. For now, be wary of skipping songs. We're working on a fix right now.

Also, it seems that this issue doesn't affect Firefox.

After toiling away for the past two days I think we resolved this issue.. at least in IE7. Let me know if it works for you guys.

I'm using Firefox and it's happening with me. Happened on My Stats, playing, so I clicked on the song, clicked play, and it did the starting animation, then the ending animation. A refresh allows me to play once, and then the problem comes back.

I have the same problem with firefox and haven't been able to bump for two days.

I've been on t61 for about an hour this morning (4/26) and I haven't had to open a new browser at all! I'm not sure if the bug is fixed or if it is just that I am on a different computer that does not have Vista.
