explicit lyrics warning? | 06 may 08 5:31 p.m. while maybe 4-5 years ago, i wouldn't have cared about this. However, i know a lot of people with kids (like 12-14 age range) that do listen on here occasionally. i have a music project with explicit lyrics that i generally want most people to listen, but maybe some of the younger crowd couldn't handle it.
Unless this isn't really an issue (is there some lower age limit in the terms of service here that I hadn't noticed?) for other reasons I do not know about. |

Re: explicit lyrics warning? | 06 may 08 6:25 p.m. I'm a little confused, is this a feature request or a question about the "rules" here?
If it's a feature request then cool, if not, well that's cool too but I can't add anything to that discussion ;) In any case, I listen at work mostly and I work in a "conservative" environment so having a warning when there are explicit lyrics might be a cool idea. Kinda sucks when I leave the Rack on while working and someone stops by just as a quasi-offensive tune pops up. Good thing I have a mute button on the keyboard :) btw lol @ your avatar It's hard to look at that and not think of Rick. |

Re: explicit lyrics warning? | 08 may 08 8:17 a.m. Could have a button where a listener could request a censored version that had all the explicit lyrics changed to some friendlier word. When it was clicked then the user account would be deleted.
:) Alright kidding, but I hate modifying artists works. |

Re: explicit lyrics warning? | 08 may 08 7:50 p.m. Yes, i do mean adding an option for an artist (i have an artist account here also) to mark some song with explicit lyrics - more of an informational aspect to listeners who may want to know.
