What are the boxes below my user name in the upper right?

wondering the same thing. I guess its a sign of an upcoming feature rather than a current bug ;-)

I would expect these to become active when the sites clock resets for the next day. That is when the 'About Me' box became active..

Well, it looks like I was wrong in the guess that these would turn into something at 2am eastern time.

It'd reset at 3a.m. EST. But yeah, still nothing. My guess is that it's a queue of some sort...

Who likes guessing? I do! I took a look at the page source and saw that the div(ision) where the 4 numbers are in, is called 'achievements'. The 4 boxes themselves are called 'mini_badge_box'-es. My first guess is, that our daily score is going to be displayed there. My second guess is that the four best 'Listeners Today' badges will be put there.

maybe like XBox 360 Achievements or Steam Achievements

Probably like a gamercard for online gaming systems

I imagine it would be stuff like
1) First time to discover a song
2) First time to revive a song
3) Score at least 1000 points in a day
4) Score at least 2500 points in a day
5) Comment on 10 songs in a days

stuff like that - some achievements can be eventually attained by everyone, and some only thru some real experience on using the site. The 4 slots may mean, only 4 achievements available, the last 4 you achieved, or (if achievements generate a "gamerscore" like tally) the achievements that are worth the most points.

What I am hoping is that this can be done for artists also...

I'd guess that they're going to be Xbox Live-style achievements.

"First to bump a song", "Gained 300 points from a single song", etc.

Well, it's definitely not a bug. I just got my first "Achievement unlocked": Reached a play count milestone. Now the first box shows an icon. Such a achievement seems to be very profitable. Three unlocks to go for me.

Ok. It's just happened to me. First achievement called "listen up". Little icon that shows headphones and text:
"listen up
reach a play count milestone
level 1: 5 plays, 100 pts earned, 05/10/2008"
and few minutes later:
"level 2: 100 plays, 250 pts earned, 05/10/2008"

...and it seems that the third one is after 1000 plays and it's worth 500 points...

I got the four achievements many people have reported upon listening to my first four songs today. But I didn't get any icons in the 1 2 3 4 boxes, like Evonity. They still show the numbers. There is a big icon on my stats page, though.

Took a bit for it to show up top right, for me..

It should show up after a browser refresh.
