This started sometime yesterday:

When navigating back to the home page, the series of popups that show your accumulated points from bumped songs is very erratic. It used to show about one per second and you'd see your total score go up at the exact same time each popup appeared. Now it seems to update your score independently (still about once per second), but the popups appear every 2-4 seconds, so it gets out of sync and the total score finishes updating long before the popups are done.

I'm using Firefox 2.0.0.14 running on XP. I haven't changed anything on my system since it was previously working.

This is a minor thing, but it has definitely broken sometime in the past day or so.

ditto. it seems like there's lag when points are updated now.

Same for me. It isn't as fun to watch when it isn't synced up.

I thought it was just me. Ditto loyalty. It's not as much fun this way :)

I've definitely noticed this too. Same setup as op, Firefox 2.14 on XP. It makes me sad, I loved watching my popups and points go up together!

IE 6 on XP here, same problem - I think it was happening on my FF2 Mac OS X this morning. Definitely doesn't seem to be a platform issue.

We've temporarily fixed this issue. In the meantime, while your points should be synced, the point totals will not animate as you receive rewards, but will just reflect the real total immediately.

Mine was previously working as you've stated, Sam, but now is only showing the Total Points popup, then suddenly dumping all per song points tally popups into my Firefox window at the same time.

that's the temporary fix.

It is being weird again. Now, while I get the point update pop-ups, my total still shows the beginning point balance. So even after all the points come flooding in, my points stay the same until I refresh the page again.

It should be fine after a refresh. You had some stale code in your browser. (We recently did an update)
