It seems like commenting on a song that has been revived and currently holds the number 1 position on the 'hot' page will send it WAY down the list on the 'hot' page. I have seen this happen with M83 and another song that I can't remember. It looks like this may have just happened to the M83 song that Tejoz revived.

We fixed a quirky bug that should resolve this issue.

The issue is apparently not resolved or even limited to revived songs. It just happened to a revive of mine AND a first bump of mine.

They were number 2 and 3 on the hot page. Now, since a comment appeared on them, they have shot to the bottom of the first and second hot pages.

Damn you for reviving Melody! I was biding my time on that one as I thought it might be too soon to do it a month after first upload.

You can just revive it again in another month. The song is worth it for sure. And it will probably do better at that point anyways as this bug will be fixed and the song will be able to stay on the hot page for longer.

This still seems to be happening. I revived a song, posted a comment on it (within about 10 seconds), and now it's down in the middle of page 2. Was hoping to get more for my 1000 points. =(

This seems to be happening on new songs too. I watched one of my 1st bumps happily moving up on the activity pages - someone commented on the song and it shot down several pages. Just an FYI.......
