Multiple genres | 24 jun 08 6:01 a.m. As an artist, how can I specify more then one genre to a song?
Examples: folk, experimental http://www.thesixtyone.com/thetwilightsad/collection/item/1020/ blues, rock http://www.thesixtyone.com/BigJames/collection/item/7000/ Thank you! |

Re: Multiple genres | 24 jun 08 8:26 a.m. Currently you can only specify a genre eg folk, blues etc and then, if you wish, a sub-genre of the main genre eg for blues you can pick chicago blues, delta blues etc. You can't mix and match the main genres together.

Re: Multiple genres | 24 jun 08 8:39 a.m. Thanks, that's what I thought! But have a look at the examples above: folk and experimental are not sub-genres of one another and so are blues and rock. How are they specified?

Re: Multiple genres | 24 jun 08 8:41 a.m. To expand on Alex's point, you used to be able to, but that was prior to sub-genres being introduced, so there are relics of the previous genre listing, which is why the examples you listed have multiple genres.
