first of All, I love the site, and thanks for everythign.
But the little pop up keeps showing up and telling me i get

+3

and then very happily telling em I just got 2 points...

the numbers of course, keep changinf, but the total is always lower, I was aonderfing if this is because of the point system changing?

I reported this problem earlier in the day… and it's been off-again / on-again since. From what I can tell, the listing section (+1, +1, +1, +3, +3) is correct and the total (in your case, 2) is incorrect. Unfortunately, it seems to be using the total for what you actually receive.
