To our faithful listeners,

We've decided to formally shutdown thesixtyone.com -- our servers will go offline at midnight, May 1st 2017.

Artist tipping and music purchases will be functional until then, so please spend any remaining credits by month's end.
A final payment will be made to artists following the shutdown.

thesixtyone was our baby for most of our twenties. We're incredibly sorry we weren't able to keep things going in the
right direction.

Thank you for being a part of it.

My new album, DREAMS IN THE MORNING, is available for download. It's a compilation of expressive and melodic pieces from films that I've worked on. This collection of music conjures up the lingering fragments of memories from dreams when I first wake up. You can preview and download the album here:

or look it up on iTunes:

I'm really excited to share this video from the world premiere of my concert suite from J-ok'el. Getting to stand up in front of a real orchestra and conduct my own music in a live concert was something I dreamed of doing since I was a teenager, and it finally happened! It took a long time to get the video edited together, but it was worth the wait. It features footage from the dress rehearsal and the performance.

Also, this was the Golden State Pops Halloween Concert, so the orchestra got to dress up in costumes. See if you can spot Fred Flinstone, Mario, and a Giant Banana.

Losing the Perfect Love reminds me a lot of Chopin's Nocturne in E Flat Major Opus 9 No. 2.

Pretty good music. It's just too bad that not many people like classical music nowadays.

It's crazy these don't have more hearts. What i reckon is because they are so short, they end before people get the chance to heart perhaps?
