GN: The sixty-one MEGA Upload Party Wake for Michael Paul Miller is set to go off from 7 to 8 pm Pacific Time on Thursday, May the 8th. With 61+ artists slated, it should average about one new tune per minute, and there will be additional uploads hours later due to late uploads. Check my Wallzine listing of the 61 official artists for your favorite bands, and let your favs know they are welcome to "crash" it and upload then if they didn't get the word in time. Also, feel free to let anyone you tunebox with in on it, as it is open to ALL artists and ALL listeners.
Enjoy the music, as we celebrate for Mike...

You've bumped Arcati Crisis already, which maybe means you like us, or maybe means you were just speculating on a new song. Either way, we appreciate it.

We recently remixed both of our tunes to add vocal clarity and more guitar punch, and encoded them at an improved bitrate. There are many more where they came from, but these are two of our favorites and we'd like to give them a bump jumpstart before we upload a third song.

We'd appreciate it if you give us another listen, and perhaps even some more bumps if you still like what you hear. Many thanks - AC

OK...we're posting up a new song today at 12:34pm (Central Daylight Time). It's called "Heroes." If you're feelin' bumpy, be there.

I mean...if ya wanna.

No pressure.

So...here's a bit of forewarning, you mad bumper you. We'll be uploading a new tune, "Big Black Car," to T61 sometime around 12:06pm (CDT) today. It's a happy-go-lucky murder song with a fun beat. It's also a track from our latest CD, The Center of the Universe, which is currently being featured as a "recommended CD" in the April issue of Paste Magazine...which makes us very happy.

You can, in fact, listen to our music at a Paste listening station in your local indie music shop. While doing so, feel free to exclaim loudly, jump up and down and make generally orgasmic faces. This will make the store manager very happy. (Us too.)

"Enough with the shameless self promotion already," you're probably muttering to yourself between whispered curses. "Get your poncy verbiage off my comment wall, you twittering hack."

All right already. Just throw a few bumps our way if ya like what ya hear...OK?

CloverRex just revived our song "Good as Gold." It's one of the very first songs we posted here on T61 a while back...I'm glad to see it's getting another shot at "the big time." If you get a chance, check it out.

Oh, by the way, don't be alarmed by the numerous backwards messages buried deep within the mix of the song. We're just subliminally encouraging you to get plenty of fiber in your diet. And check the air pressure in your tires regularly. And floss. No big deal, seriously.

Just flow with it.

I haven't' figured out how to do much more than waste my points on music that I enjoy -- but I'm a huge advocate nonetheless. I tell everyone I meet to kick the Corporate habit by listening to theSixtyOne!

There's a new episode of TODAY on THESIXTYONE.COM Fan Podcast out on my feed and embedded players. The website will catch up when Bagman returns from the dead. Today I bring you the following artists:

Nine Inch Nails, Tripp Algiers, ikki, Champion Vinyl, Band of None, Cornbelt Chorus, Contents Under Pressure, Makeshift Prodigy, Sam Hokin, El Jugador, and plenty of stupidity.

Casters of Pod need bumps too. If you haven't already voted for my show in March please do so.

Hello dear Zuba listener

Our dear friend mbjorgen has been reaaaaaly nice and helpfull to us yesterday in 2 ways:
1. She changed her vote for Mes Fantomes so finally we've got a winner and it's from now on downloadable for a week, feel free to add it to your personal collection!
2. She revived Hail Africa for it to go on the home page, so, be nice with her (and us of course ;-D) and bump it up!!!

A few bumps would be nice anyway because we'd looooove to share more songs with you, but unfortunately we need to beg for bumpybumpies becos we're stuck on level 13... even our friends Cactus Bob are now in front of us again!!! (cheeky blink blink blink)

Thanks for the support

I like to promote the music of my friends when I believe in their material. There's one singer that I should have already been telling everybody about a long time ago, but she has the disadvantage of having me doing the mixing, mastering and music for her songs.

Please allow me to direct your attention to my wife's page on thesixtyone, and our page as well. I have just posted songs on both profiles.

Glenn and Rachael on thesixtyone

"Presenting to You" was created for a benefit CD that should be available again in the near future. The website needs to be revamped.

"Need Stilts" is often considered to be one of the greatest songs I have ever taken part in writing.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

Hey there,

Deshead's a friend of mine from Songfight. He's better than his bump and listener stats reflect.

He also just uploaded a new song called "Nothing Left". I like it, I bumped it several times, and maybe you'll like it too. That's why I am telling you about it.

ROCK!

OH! And thank you for the nice comment on "Take on Me". I didn't have to squeeze the boys to hit that high note, but I did have to belt it out, so it just SOUNDS painful. I recorded that for a "Gift of Music" project which is pretty much the equivalent of a secret santa for internet geek musicians. I waited until the last minute to record it, and I might have recorded it in a lower key if I had given myself a little more time. I love how everything sounds up until that high note, and I keep wanting to see if I can do a better job on that part. I'm not sure I can 'though.

Again, thanks for everything.

ROCK!

...and NO Gnuz is GOOD Gnuz with GARY... Gnuz(inov)

You have shown some decent support for me on this website, and I wanted to be sure to thank you for that. Seriously, check out these stats:

Hopeless = 13 bumps
Take on Me = 4 bumps
Wedding Song = 1 bump
Total = 18 bumps

In other words: You rock!

I won't be putting any new songs on here for a long time. I'm BEYOND maxed out with 21 songs. I will have to reach level 20 to put up anything new, and the highest rated artist is at level 17 right now. It's safe to say it's going to be a while.

Then again, 21 songs is a probably a lot to absorb. Should you choose to hear more, you can!

Thanks again for your support.

Operation "Give merz Love Day" was a rousing success! "Butterfly" hit the home page, bumps galore for all his great music, and merz even noticed and gave t61 two new songs -- including his new single leaked off his new album! "Presume Too Much" is awesome -- if you haven't already, check it out.

Hello dear listener ;)
First, thank you very much for your support.
As, you might have noticed, We're stucked in level 10, unable to upload any new song(s) :(
So here's a deal, if you can bump us up a wee bit more, that will help us providing you some more Bassa Beat... if you can't... nae bother, the deal will be the same!
So, hit us in our tunebox with the track from us you would like to download for free and the track which comes back to us the more often will be downloadable for a week whenever we reach level 11.
Hope it's an okay deal!
