Hi...Jarrod from Admiral Twin here. I contributed a track to the For Supergrover cover song project here on T61 (Haven't heard about it? Read this article to find out more: http://www.maxbumps.net/2008/09/supergroverfor-squirrels-tribute.html.)

My track, "Orangeworker," was uploaded recently. There are also great tracks from Glenn Case, Temple Scene, and Delightful Young Man. If you'd like to check it out, head over to www.thesixtyone.com/forsupergrover/

That could be a dangerous offer, sir. Shall we meet at dawn?

Actually, I don't like to get up that early and it socially frowned upon to start drinking wine before mid-day. Hey! A late lunch shirt touching. Perfect.

Wow, you're one of the cool kids! And I know you!

...can I touch your shirt? Please?

SUBSCRIBER ALERT!

The sixty-one MEGA Upload Party Wake for Michael Paul Miller is set to go off from 7 to 8 pm Pacific Time on Thursday, May the 8th. With 61+ artists slated, it should average about one new tune per minute, and there will be additional uploads hours later due to late uploads. Check KosmikRay 's Wallzine listing of the 61 official artists for your favorite bands, and let your favs know they are welcome to "crash" it and upload then if they didn't get the word in time. Also, feel free to let anyone you tunebox with in on it, as it is open to ALL artists and ALL listeners.
Enjoy the music, as we celebrate for Mike...

***please post a copy of this notice on friends or subscribers walls...we need to get the word out.

So...here's a bit of forewarning, you mad bumper you. We'll be uploading a new tune, "Big Black Car," to T61 sometime around 12:06pm (CDT) today. It's a happy-go-lucky murder song with a fun beat. It's also a track from our latest CD, The Center of the Universe, which is currently being featured as a "recommended CD" in the April issue of Paste Magazine...which makes us very happy.

You can, in fact, listen to our music at a Paste listening station in your local indie music shop. While doing so, feel free to exclaim loudly, jump up and down and make generally orgasmic faces. This will make the store manager very happy. (Us too.)

"Enough with the shameless self promotion already," you're probably muttering to yourself between whispered curses. "Get your poncy verbiage off my comment wall, you twittering hack."

All right already. Just throw a few bumps our way if ya like what ya hear...OK?

We should be updating our official website soon with all the lyrics from the new CD. But until then...if you give me your email addy I'll send you the lyrics. Leave it on our comment wall or send it to us via Tunebox.

All right...here's a heads up. At or around 7:13pm (Central Daylight Time) today (March 26) Admiral Twin (that's us) will upload a new track to T61. It's called "The Fools' Brigade." It's in 6/8 time. It's cynical...but fun. There's even a real-deal tavern singalong chorus at the end. We think you'll like it.

OK then...

Thanks for the nice comments! Emusic *should* be carrying more of our releases...not really sure why only our latest one is showing up there. Might need to put in a call to them...
