Biography

Southern pine forests, winding rivers, and muddy bare feet are luxuries to this Atlanta, GA. native. It is life experience, both good and bad, that are the fuel; passion for music, which is the spark, that ignites to create Grace Buford's unique style of songwriting. Whether it be a rhythmic acoustic song about facing negative thoughts in a battle for the mind or a flowing ethereal keyboard that exposes the vulnerability of facing change, Grace's songs and concerts are a versatile emotional ride.

All I need to do is to figure out how to pay for it. LOL I insisted that I get to see the sewer pipe before they put it in the ground. Least they could do after how much it cost.

Plan on my smiling face, cheering in the audience for you, to be there next year. You are such a sweetie and so talented.

Hugs,
Su

Grace, it will have to be next year before we can party again. My sewer line had to be replaced, new washer and dryer (they died) and now icebox put its toes to the sky so new one of them too. I am jes a bit broke at the moment. :( We had a great time last year and will do so again in 2009.

Hugs,
Sumar

Performing LIVE July 26th 5-8pmEST outside the Mambo Grill in Lowell, MA during the Lowell Folk Festival
Watch LIVE VIDEO of the show! Join friends in Second Life(tm) at a replica of Merrimack St on Artropolis.
OR come on down to the show itself on the sidewalk in front of The Mambo Grill.
Be sure to leave feedback if you come by any one of the three places. I'd love to hear from you personally. Have a Folk'n Fabulous DAY!

Hi. I'd LOVE to tell you more about that guitar on my page...but I'd rather do it somewhere else. Are you on myspce? I'd rather message you on something like that. The guitar belonged to my friend who lost his life in Katrina's aftermath.

In East Point? well, I've been only a few times specifically b/c they made me drink from a bottle the few times I did go.. maybe they were out. I didn't get to make it although I did want to, I saw the other show date maybe I'll get to see you somewhere else in Atlanta in the mean time.

This website offers music lovers , but not to download. The unique twist is that listeners can earn points by bumping up songs that you like that catches on with other listeners and they too can bump the song up, too. Listeners are the ultimate judges of the song's success or failure. It's kind of like American Idol on steroids.

"Black Water Rising"...my goodness, that could have been written by a friend of mine who did not survive Katrina. It touched me.

Well, oddly enough I found you today on this site and I live in East Point, so I guess I'll be seeing you at the corner tavern on the 13th (even if they don't serve 420 draft)

Awesome

To those who listen to songs that are covers and don't like artists putting their own interpretations on them....don't listen to covers at all. Stick to the originals and ban creativity.
I love it when other artists cover my songs and change them...Spence Wilder, Charles Coleman, and Dolmere Talamasca...I salute you gentlemen for putting your own interpretations and style into covering my songs. THANK YOU~and change 'em as you will...I welcome it.

**In response to listeners' close mindedness to artists changing the melodies and rhythms of "popular" music and putting their own style into the songs.**
