The current lineup of Hello Kavita (Corey Teruya, Ian Short, Jimmy Stofer, Leor Manelis, Luke Mossman) has been together for two years. The bands' effortless chemistry comes from years of playing with other groups and extensive touring. "Songwriting just flows with these guys.." says Leor Manelis. "Everyone is on the same page, and everyone plays a crucial role in the band's sound. It's easy to get things done."
With the success of their debut album, "And Then We Turned Sidweways," Hello Kavita was awarded "Best New Denver Band" by 5280 Magazine in 2008. The band is now slated to release it's highly anticipated follow-up sophomore release "To A Loved One" in October 2009.
