In 2005, Kevin Markland, David Bailey, and Pavlos Krokidis met while attending Colorado School of Mines. All three became friends who were less involved in their studies and more involved in writing music. In 2008, Pavlos decided to pick up a bass and join forces with them. Jamming became a regular cathartic activity for the group. However, without drums they were missing a key component. Through a stroke of luck, (and craigslist) they met Ned Morgan in 2009, a very talented drummer with a similar perspective, who moved from Pennsylvania to Colorado, joined the band, and filled the void. iconoClass has been creating original music in their basement studio, and playing live shows ever since.
