To our faithful listeners,

We've decided to formally shutdown thesixtyone.com -- our servers will go offline at midnight, May 1st 2017.

Artist tipping and music purchases will be functional until then, so please spend any remaining credits by month's end.
A final payment will be made to artists following the shutdown.

thesixtyone was our baby for most of our twenties. We're incredibly sorry we weren't able to keep things going in the
right direction.

Thank you for being a part of it.

Great songs man, just like your pics. Awesome.
Regarding my profile pic, I remember the collection you were talking about, but I forgot the artist´s name. Remind me if you can.

i'm pretty new to the site myself, been about a month on here.

as far as lyrics, i've seen artists post them as comments on the song

for blog space, you've got the news tab... you can enter HTML in it so you can post links, pictures, etc

5 songs is about as many as you want to post right now, it's best to work on getting a little following after your first uploads and then go one or two at a time. for now, try to get your friends/listeners to sign up and bump your music

sometimes it just takes a while... i saw a song post to the homepage today that i bumped a month ago and it only had a couple of bumps when it first posted

oh, there's also maxbumps.net, a blog/forum started by some t61 people... it's not super-active but you can post there asking for advice or ears

ok the sound is great, was going to post earlier that you should start adding info, i see that you've got some pics up. definitely add some more about who you are, whatever you have on your myspace is good. the more info the better, especially with new artists on here. it'll take a little while for people to catch on but good music will eventually take hold.

again, great music, welcome to the site
