Irsa Andrea (born December 15, 1980) is an Indonesian singer-songwriter born and raised in Jakarta, Indonesia. The self-taught talented singer is adept to various styles of music such as pop, jazz, blues, R & B, and gospel. Being raised in a musical family, Irsa was exposed to music at early age. Winning singing contests had encouraged her as a teenage to develop her talent in music, not only as a singer but also as a songwriter. As a result, she wrote her first song “Yang Kutunggu” during her time in junior high.

In 2001, she had been working with In Memoriam (an Indonesian metal progressive rock band) as a background vocalist in their first album release. She also had the opportunity to work with Kerispatih (an Indonesian pop rock band) in 2005 as a background vocalist on their hit singles “Kejujuran Hati” and “Lagu Rindu”. She was also featured as a background vocalist with Aluna band on the tv show “BRI Di Hati” at Trans TV in 2009 and had been recently working with Oni & Friends on the tv show “Idola Cilik” at RCTI.

She currently teaches at Institut Musik Indonesia’s Voice Department.
