To our faithful listeners,

We've decided to formally shutdown thesixtyone.com -- our servers will go offline at midnight, May 1st 2017.

Artist tipping and music purchases will be functional until then, so please spend any remaining credits by month's end.
A final payment will be made to artists following the shutdown.

thesixtyone was our baby for most of our twenties. We're incredibly sorry we weren't able to keep things going in the
right direction.

2007-2017

Thank you for being a part of it.

Farewell,

James Miao & Samuel Hsiung

Howdy Gianni,
I do! It was about half done before it evolved into a sister project for something much bigger (that I can't wait to unveil but is still in its infancy atm).

And if you happen to be into 'Left 4 Dead 2', there are some early mixes of new tracks in the soundtracks and trailers of my first two game projects, "Beldurra" and "Beldurra 2" (both are add-on campaigns for & available in the Steam Workshop, reachable directly via beldurra.com & beldurra2.com )

Thanks for listening!

Do you have another album in the works? I enjoy listening to your soulful mixes and would love to support you by purchasing your next release. Any thoughts?

No problem. One of your fans was worried about you and posted about it in our group. I reckon you know what you're doing.

musicmissionary is correct. I would follow the advice and only upload songs one at a time. Also, if you get a listener account, you can join a group like Electro Freaks since your music is more electro oriented. (Or pick any other group that suits your tastses.) You then tip the group members off to your new releases and then they can get behind them and try to push them to the front page.

You can still overcome it if you say persistent and socialize with people - get a user account if you don't already have one - but stop uploading so many songs. Please.

Yep. If you add up the hearts on the last couple of pages, it might've been enough to get on the homepage a couple of times.
