Biography

I've written songs for everybody worth writing for. I've won a couple of awards, including CMA for Song of the Year. I guess it's time to sing a few myself.

Hope y'all enjoy.

"High Cost of Living" was certainly worth the purchase from Amazon and I am not that fond of country music!

The lyrics on this track speaks to every working class person in the world in one way or another.

Two things: I don't care for country music much. Not in general. Also, I've been so turned off by the music industry suing old ladies and single mothers for copyright infringement, that I vowed I would never buy another album. Period. And that's why I'm surprised to say that I went to Amazon this evening and bought Jamey's "That Lonesome Song" album. What pushed me to it was the song "In Color". The lyrics of that song really touched me. They remind me of conversations I've had with my own grandparents and great aunts and uncles about the depression and living through the second world war. My grampas and uncles are gone now, but they're still there in my memories. Thank you for sharing that song on thesixtyone.
