Hola,
I'll be uploading another song (or two) today @ 4pm PDT.
I'll be pretty much offline after that (getting married @ High Sierra Music Festival....yea!), so thanks in advance for your support.

I'm glad y'all enjoy the Ska!

peace

Hi. Just thought I'd let you know that we'll be posting a track to T61 today at 1:03pm (CDT). The song is "You Hung the Moon." Come by and take a listen...if you dare.

On a completely separate note: The combination "ough" can be pronounced in nine different ways. The following sentence contains them all:
"A rough-coated, dough-faced, thoughtful ploughman strode through the streets of Scarborough; after falling into a slough, he coughed and hiccoughed."

Hello listeners! First off, thank you for supporting us--we feel like we've received a very warm welcome to this site. It's wonderful to see such a large group of people care so much about listening and commenting about new music.

Once again, I just wanted to let you all know that we will be uploading a new song. This time it will be at 8PM EASTERN on SUNDAY, JUNE 22ND (hopefully that's a better time for listeners in Europe). This one is called, "What You're After" and it's the song that got us into the top 20 (out of 2000 entrants from 88 different countries) of the BBC's "Next Big Thing" contest last year.

If you want a sneak peak at the song, please just message us back with your email and we'll send all our 44 songs to you straight away for free (gmail and yahoo are the best, but as long as you have a big inbox it's all good).

Much peace and many, many thanks,
Mark & Drew

You liked the moon, so I am going to give you a tip as a way of saying thank you.

According to this news story, the moon is going to appear gigantic tonight, but it is an optical illusion.

ROCK!

Poopy I just realized I didn't say what time zone. Hmmm, well, let's just say 3PM EASTERN TIME (it'd be less confusing for me cause we're in North Carolina). If you can't do the math as to what time that would be in your zone, please write me back and I'll hopefully be able to figure it out.

Also, check out http://www.myspace.com/lukeybrandfon - he's the "Luke" in "Luke's Hymn" -- those of you who have myspace accounts too should add him and then tell him to get the f*** over here on sixtyone!

Hey just wanted to give our listeners a chance to bump our new song first. I will upload it at 3pm sharp today and it is called "It's All In Your Head" from our debut album "Chopping Wood & Carrying Water" (which also has Luke's Hymn on it). I use a looping pedal when we play live and try to fill out our two-man sound with it. The only things that are overdubbed are the synths and the vocal samples, which were taken from an old Twilight Zone-like radio show.

If you want our 40+ songs for free, send us a message with your email or email us at kingtutband@gmail.com

http://www.amarodolce.com is where you can purchase our album (21 songs, 1hr17mins)

thanks a lot for your continued support!

<3 mark

here are the lyrics to Luke's Hymn

You can get real far with a little,
but you best not get caught up in the middle,
cause all those things that drag you down
they won't make a sound.

Hello to all my listeners, my page was hacked two or three days ago. My music was lost and most of all the beautiful comments you guys left me was all gone. The good news is that I created a new page. You can find my new page by typing the word May13Music in the search section or just click on this new yellow symbol profile in the box. I had 908 points and I was at level 6 which was hard work. I figured if I contacted all my 66 listeners via copy and paste I'll gain all you guys (my fans) again. There are three songs up now "Better Days Will Come", "I'm A Born Jamaican" & "Sacred Place." I thank all of you for the constant support listening to my music and bumping them. Much blessings, love, light and happiness to everyone.

Hi jkwaters,

Just wanted to say thanks for bumping my song Last Bitter Tear and helping it reach more ears! The song is doing incredibly well, which is cool!

I have also uploaded two acoustic unplugged tracks of my own since then - "Knowing I Am Knowing You" and "Angel". Please check these out of you haven't done so already.

Cheers!

About Me

I will be gone for 3 weeks. Im off to Tanzania! I'll be back July 22.
I'm curious to see how many points I will get?

there is an eerie chill in the air as many big bumpers take breaks or leave the 61

me and my amigos are gonna start a band. i play in a jazz combo group at my school. i am currently in high school. i want to be a baker/chef, artist, or go into sound recording after gr. 12. i love music. i am canadian. i listen to it every single day and i couldn't go a day with out it. some of my favourite albums include: the poison, us against the crown, dark side of the moon, crime of the century, the sufferer & the witness, alive 2007, a rush of blood to the head, gravity, californication, scream aim fire, demon days. i love this website and discovering loads of new music every single day.

reviving a song is just as hard as first bumping it...
