Biography

Born and raised in Kinston, NC (hometown of Maceo Parker, Jamie Pressley, Jerry Stackhouse, and Patrick Frankfort), John Barwick began playing music as a young child. In high school and college, John was the co-founder and main songwriter for groups such as One Dead Language, Leisure Suit, and Family Function. He co-writes and records with NYC’s/NC’s own, Patrick Frankfort. John's recording credits include the "If We Only Had a Brain" compilation (song - Hate by Design 1995), "The Shame EP" 2005, and "A Difficult Spring" 2007.

I still need to remix this thing though to bring up the levels. I'm a slacker, what can I say!

I have to say that your points and number of bumps for these great songs is really not indicative of how good this music is. Just very pure vocals and guitar playing.

News

Recently uploaded an acoustic version of Early Morning Blues. This version actually has multiple verses, a bridge, etc. In other words, a complete song, such as it is.

Also, "Wipe the Slate Clean" will be featured on an upcoming compilation CD of acoustic and acoustic rock artists from the east coast. Copies of the CD will be available from me and through iTunes, Amazon, etc. More to follow...
