Jolea is a 25-year old Helsinki based producer and the manager of electronic music label Audiobaum. She has been writing and making music since a teenager. Besides her band projects formed with friends, she has so far been active in the backstage of the underground electronic music scene. This has lead to collaborations in the forms of live sets with IDM heads Recue and Bad Loop, crafting an energetic floorfiller with DJ RX, borrowing her voice to the experimental soundscapists and even taking part in the Finnish rap scene with a pseudonym. But now her own writings and production work has manifested as the debut album of Jolea.

In her music Jolea combines the elements of modern synth and DSP driven electronica with acoustic instruments and organic recordings. The whole package is topped off with melodies and harmonies familiar in pop music and the layers are wrapped around her vocal work which is the heart and core of her music.
