Jon Spanyol is an award winning multi-instrumentalist songwriter and producer based in North London. Following the successful release of his debut EP, “Good Things” in 2010, he was compared to artists such as Maroon 5 and Ben Folds with his smooth blend of piano-driven pop lines and groovy funk licks. Shortly after its release, he had airplay on BBC Radio, headlined London Twestival and was featured in Sound on Sound magazine.

His highly anticipated album, “Pick A Card”, is due for release on Inverse Square Records in late 2011 and promises to be packed to the rafters with catchy, melodic pop tunes and soaring ballads.
Pop, Jazz, Funk and Classical - all of these good things come together in his songwriting. The last big musical name to come out of Malvern ended up on the back of the £20 note. Jon hasn’t got there yet, but he’s aiming high.
