I'm a composer/performer from Chicago, Illinois. For the past thirteen years I've focused on having a complete lack of stylistic focus, creating multiple albums and EPs, writing music for documentary film and commercial applications, and developing experiments in remote collaboration.
Along with my own work, I've also started a "record label" called Sidedown Audio that caters to solo, home-recording artists. We release between three and six albums a year, all as limited edition physical products with handmade album art.
I love recording for film and video applications, and I'm about to end a years-long live performance hiatus by playing piano for Silvergirl and Absinthe & The DIrty Floors.
Please take a listen to anything and everything you want. Music is meant to be heard! I've got a regular podcast called Winchester Sessions, where I head into the studio and improvise for a bit. I have plenty of free tracks available for download over on Alonetone, and my 2008 album GMOVJ is available right here.
I'm always looking for new and interesting projects, so if you'd like to commission some audio, get in touch.
