Once upon a time next to a beer crate in a small town in the heathlands of northern germany two guys who barely knew each others names decided to play together in a band.

Ten years, several name changes and three drummers later, the band - now - called .kinetic... is making music over a distance. the three existing band members are living in berlin and munich - though they still gather at a beer crate somewhere in the heathlands from time to time.

While the early attempts tried to unify the favorite bands of the two original members smashing pumpkins and fear factory, the music evolved over the years and today lives in a burrow between the roots of the big, big trees called "radiohead", "the mars volta", "tool", "sigur rós", "dredg", "aereogramme", and who else is planted around the heathland.
