biography
Kirsty Hawkshaw is known mostly for her 'Dance Music Collaborations'. She has worked with DJ's such as Tiesto, BT, and has also worked with Drum and Bass Kings "Paradox" and Outrage'. However there is another side to Kirsty, that is more gentle. She writes ballads, and ambient music. Her first Ambient release 'The Ice Castle' has been at number 1 in the Magnatune download chart now for almost two months now www.magnatune.com. Kirsty is currently working with Ulrich Schnauss and should have a slow ballad album finished by the fall. www.kirstyhawkshaw.co.uk for more news.

I first heard Kirsty in her work with BT and Hybrid. I was just blown away and started looking into her music. It's like she shows up in everything that is awesome. And now I find out she's working with Ulrich Schnauss!? This is just mind-blowing news for me. Kirsty, if you read this.. thanks for the music and you have amazing choices for your collaborators.

Kirsty hon, next song I'm going to revive is "Time is Running Out".... I'm beginning to get the feeling I'm in the wrong country, lol. Oh but wait... I can't go against one of my philosophies, "There's no distance between friends" ;-) .... still, I started saving my pennies just the same, rofl. xxx

You beautiful soul... I just read what you left me....Aye, friends for life...without a doubt.... wrapping you with a warm cloak... ((((hugs & love))) ... and for everyone else curious to read this, you know this soul here? ... there's a lot of light in her, and I'm not saying this shallow.... watch this soul, and you'll see what I mean.... I never steer people wrong. No advertising, I'm just stipulating a fact. Wasn't born yesterday, and I know light when I see it, and she has it.... remember that. ;-)

I've always enjoyed Kirsty's music, but was pleasantly surprised by her musical versatility, a mark of a true artist, especially with "The Ice Castle" album. Can hardly wait to hear her upcoming new 'slow ballad album'. I, personally, would recommend listeners to visit her website. The good vibes are definitely there. Some people have it, and some people don't. Kirsty definitely 'has it'. Just my two cents review.
